“ I got take out sushi here and got the spicy tuna. Super simple but it was delicious! Minimal rice and all fish. Because of this, it was great next day! ”
“ Five stars for service and takeout, well packaged and delicious dishes especially soft shell crab (a pleasant surprise, done just right). Simple dishes such as the tomato egg stir fry are delicious; felt like home made 番茄炒蛋. they also have Mongolian stir fry, Thai curry, Japanese sushi, the whole range. Owner is Chinese. No ambiance to speak off as it is in a half basement; no decor; a bit sad. But I came here to pick up food, having placed my order on UberEats. They told me it's cheaper to call instead of using the app, but the app is convenient as I can multitask. They said they have their own driver and can deliver. Will keep that in mind next time. ”
“ If you are looking for a nice atmosphere with upscale food and innovation, this isn't the place for you, but if you want some reasonably priced and tasty Chinese food or cheap sushi, this hits the spot. This is definitely a hole in the wall, but the prices can't be beat, especially in West End/Foggy Bottom. Back when I lived in DC I would come here often, so I was happy to see it still standing during my recent visit. This time, I went with an appetizer and sushi, but it's reliable for any cheap and delicious Asian American food! Crispy Shrimp Roll ($5.25) - Pretty standard spring roll with shrimp inside. Not a bad price for some deep fried delights! Spicy Roll Combo ($18.25) - This three-roll combo is the best price you'll find anywhere. I wish I could get this back home, and the fact that it comes with soup or salad AND is available all day, not just for lunch, is amazing. The sushi itself is nice and tasty - it's not super high end but it's definitely above average. I'd happily get this anytime I'm in DC! It comes with spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and spicy California roll - all of which are delicious and absolutely worth the price. The restaurant is definitely a bit of a dive, but you can't beat the prices, and the taste is as good as any average/above average Chinese place. Definitely don't skip out on the sushi too - also great prices and really tasty too! I will come back here every time I'm in DC for an affordable and delicious meal! ”
“ First time trying 1 fish 2 fish and I'm ultimately impressed! Sushi was fresh and delicious! ”
“ first time ordering here on snowy night when nobody else was delivering to rlington. I am crazy about moo whoo and love veggies. I love spicy things. i ordered moo shoo vegetable and asked for it spicy. One of best moo shoos i have had in DC area and i am very very picky because its my fav. The flavor profile was like "baM. I exclaimed "oh my God" so there you go....i also got the hot and sour soup which was one of the best i had, and there you go i found my new take out place but i wish they served rice as a choice instead of pancakes, my only complaint but do try this place... ”
“ I stopped here for a quick lunch. This place is downstairs in a basement and not fancy at all but the food was delicious and the service was great. I ordered the lunch special Hunan shrimp that comes with a fried spring roll and I added a hot and sour soup cup because it was cold out and soup really hit the spot. The shrimp was fresh, almost sweet and the spring rolls hot and crispy directly out of the frier. Definitely a good choice for takeout or delivery. ”
“ I ordered from here on UberEats when my wife had COVID when we were supposed to be with friends in Williamsburg. The restaurant called to let us know they were out of the passion fruit bubble tea so we got two mango ones which were both delicious. For food we had Tom Yom Soup, Miso Soup, a Rainbow Roll, a Sakura roll, Beef Stewed Noodle Soup, Drunken Noodles, Orange Chicken, and Mango Chicken. I ate the items first and then gave them to my wife so we could share and not spread COVID. The food was all delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous. We ate some of the food for dinner but finished most of it the next day. ”
“ Definitely a hole downstairs BUT WOW!!! Food is AMAZING!! At first I wasn't going to go downstairs because the window was not the cleanest but the stairs and entry looked clean so we entered. A lady greeted us and immediately came and motioned us to sit at a round table. The interior looks run down or they need better lighting. Every single item we ordered was outstanding! It wasn't overly sweet, or oily as so many Asian restaurants do. The ingredients were very fresh. Portions were good not too large nor too little. Give this place a chance, you won't regret it unless you are the type that thinks Panda Express is the best Asian food then go eat at PE. This is very authentic Asian food! LOVE LOVE IT!! Will definitely be back! If it wasn't for the ambiance it would be 5 stars. No park lot, street parking difficult to find a space. ”
